i cannot say enough how much i like LOVE boudior photography.  i have done it three different times in my life {where i was the subject}.  once when i had recently gotten out of a relationship and lost some excess baggage besides the loser i was dating, as a way to celebrate my 'hotness'.  the second time was when i was very pregnant with my first son and the last time was during my pregnancy with my 2nd son.  big or small, tall or short, there is just something sensual and sexy about a woman's body.  i think it's something that each woman should do at least once in their lifetime.  it's not meant to be trashy or pornographic in nature, it's meant to celebrate your beauty.  so you've got 5 extra pounds, a c-section scar (i do!!), a blemish here or there, you hate your tummy, you hate your thighs (i do!!), you wish your breasts were perkier (after 2 baby's...I do!!)....boudior isn't meant to embellish the things you hate, it's meant to make you feel great about yourself, the things you love....the things your boyfriend, husband, or hell girlfriend LOVES about you.  show it all, show a little, leave a lot to the imagination.....YOU are in control of your session, you are in control of what is posted publicly and what is for your {or your s.o.'s} eyes only.  currently, i am planning a couple of marathon sessions in both antigo, wi (if i can get the interest...so far i have 2 lovely ladies on board) and wausau, wi.  i will come to the madison area if i get interest.....and surely you do not have to wait for a marathon session to decide boudior is for you, contact me for packages and more info on regular sessions.  i am hoping that any marathon sessions {you will be photographed individually, so no worries you won't be scantily clad with five strangers} will also come with professional hair and makeup services!! just gotta get the details worked out with all of you lovely ladies and with my fabulous stylist!  email me at absoluteblissphotography@yahoo.com, find me on facebook, or call 715-298-1298 if you are at all interested in celebrating your hotness!

last week friday, i met up with the gorgeous mackenzie to do some promo stuff {for both her and me} and i just had to share a few sneak peeks.

{Austin.is.ONE.|infant/toddler session}

this adorable one year old is Austin Jarod....and yes, he is mine.  there was a time when i was apprehensive about having Austin, i was concerned that i wouldn't bond with him like i did with his big brother Alexander.  there is no way on the planet that i could've been more wrong.  i love Austin just as much {or more depending on the day and how terrible Alex's 3's are that day}!! 

if you're a mom, you know that there is nothing in the world you can love more than your child.

they are the meaning of love.

and they brighten my day each and every day.

i cannot believe Austin is ONE already...

 it seems as if it just yesterday i was complaining that i wanted him out

and then there we were for the zillionth time in the birthing center

AND it was finally time for him to come out & meet us

he is just as perfect today as he was the day he was born.

{Max|Toddler Session}

i was told that it's been a while since Max has had professional photos done, however, once he warmed up to me you would've never known it.  as with most little boys, a stranger entering their home is a little odd to them.  but in no time, i was getting hugs from him to go along with his heart-melting smiles.  he showed us that at his very core he is a boy when we went outside and he had no qualms about full-fledged playing in the snow despite the fact that he wasn't wearing his coat or snowpants.  in my eyes, Max is a sort-of old soul.  his beautiful blue eyes are full of stories waiting to be told, and i am thankful that i got to spend a few hours with him. 

{Parker+Mommy|Family+Toddler Session}

4 year old Parker & his momma Brooke had a photography adventure with me last Saturday.  we were lucky enough to have a somewhat tolerable day to do some pics of the both of them in their snowmobile jackets.  if only it weren't windy, our day might've been perfect outside.  after we had enough shots of the wind, we headed downtown to search out some indoor locations to use.  and i would say we had a significant amount of luck and a little bit of fun finishing up our morning.  Parker is coming along to his cousin Chase's {from the earlier post} bunny+chick Easter session in a few weeks.  these two little cuties are sure to have a blast with the ducklings, chicks, and bunnies.  i cannot wait to photograph them together =)  i sincerely hope that Parker steals your heart like he stole mine, and by the way....his mom is pretty alright too!

{Chase|Infant Session}

Chase was the first :Twinkle Toe: to use a custom backdrop, and i couldn't have been happier with the way it turned out.  he was also the first baby to pee on one of my backdrops, something i am sure will be duplicated many times over...can't say that it fazed me or Chase the least bit.  chase will be coming back to me for a bunny+chick Easter session in a few weeks and i cannot wait to see how much he's grown.

{The Hagerty Boys|Toddler+Children's Session}

hard to believe it's been a few weeks already since i met the adorable Michael, Scott, and Robby!  while they each have their own individual unique personality they are in their very essence all boy.  i had a blast shooting their session.  they made me feel like having a third boy wouldn't be overwhelming, but instead entertaining, fun, and amazingly perfect.  here are a few of my personal favorites from my time with them.

I'm finding it hard to believe it's been a month already since Alex's birthday.....I'm a little behind on this whole blogging thing.  I guess that'll happen when you are busy shooting sessions, taking care of kids, editing sessions, taking care of kids, doing laundry, rebuilding a blog, putting laundry away, making dinner, taking care of kids.....okay you get the picture.  Here are a few of my favorites of Alex's 3 year old pictures.  The poor guy didn't even get a party this year because either we were sick, busy, or everyone that we know was sick.  Maybe he can half a half birthday party in July when the entire world isn't ill.  Oh wait, then I'll be busy with weddings.  Oh well, he had a great birthday anyway.
